Why is it i feel like as if someone just clicked the Rewind button?

Reason...

1. Its as if Zwan and I just started our relationship a few days ago. When it's actually somewhen 2 months back.
2. At the same time, kinda like its been years that Zwan and I in a relationship. I guess because we've been so close that it felt like its been forever.

Actually, it was suppose to be just me and my family. I wasn't even plan to tell my baby about it anyway. Then tgh2 nak book the flight, my mum asked me to ask Zwan whether he wanna come too. So..... I asked la kan. Of course he said YES. :)

Lesson 2: How to Deal With a Pre Menstrual Girlfriend

Women can be cranky when they have their periods. Then again, would you be happy if you spent five days feeling like you've been kicked in the stomach? Here are some ways to be more supportive and understanding toward your girlfriend when she has her period.

Steps

1. Never assume that a girl is in this situation unless you are completely sure, as it is incredibly offensive. Although some men may be sympathetic at 'that time of the month', the general perception that women have is that men can't actually understand what a woman goes through during menstruation, given that they do not experience it. To assume that a girl is in such a circumstance, without being told, is arrogant at best and completely unreasonable at worst.
   
2. Get informed about PMS. If you don't know the exact reasons for its existence, you may never understand why it happens. This will leave you feeling like your girlfriend is treating you like a doormat for no or close to no reason and might take a toll on your relationship.
   
3. Realize that you cannot control the situation no matter what you do. Realize also that mood swings in girls in this situation are not necessarily under their control. Knowing this, and understanding that it will happen one way or another is your best strategy.
   
4. Find out what her usual pattern is, i.e. is she usually in pain/depressed/tired? Is her libido strong or practically non-existent? Try to adapt to these patterns. If her libido lessens during that time, don't act pushy. It will depress or anger her that she is disappointing you. If she has a strong libido, don't stay away from her just because it's "that time of the month". Figure something out that does not make either of you feel rejected or obligated.
   
5. Don't antagonize her. Easier said than done, but avoid piquing her temper as much as possible. It's also better to avoid asking too many questions. Questions are normal, but don't overwhelm her with pointless questions. She may feel pushed or untrusted. Save these for after the menstruation cycle.
   
6. Do something "thoughtful" for her. If possible avoid getting something in return: this will prove to her that you want her to be happy, and it's not that you want something from her.
   
7. Prepare for extreme reactions. This goes in both directions. So if you're nice to her to make her feel good, she may cry tears of joy over some flowers or you doing her dishes. Don't let it freak you out. Hug her (carefully, this is not the time for rib-cracking squeezes), give her a kiss and hand her a tissue. She'll love you for it.
   
8. Comfort yourself with an understanding that she is not enjoying her period and treat her with tenderness, but with a quiet strength. Your girlfriend will react well to your self assurance.

Tips

• Be strong but not dominating.
  
• Be gentle when touching, she may be sore/have a headache/ have cramps.
  
• If/when the goo hits the propeller, explain that you are sorry she feels that way and exit asap. Being understanding does not mean that you should take abuse.
  
• Flowers, her favorite dinner, a heating pad, massage! If she's very sore, bubble bath and a chick flick.
  
• If your wife/girlfriend is especially sensitive to PMS, it's pays to keep track of her periods.
  
• Chocolate, unless she feels it makes things worse. Some women get stronger cramps from chocolate.
  
• Figure out when her period is and then you can know when to expect that she might be a little...yeah. Make a habit of giving her presents throughout the month. Not every day, but, once in a while some flowers or candy or something because if she knows her cycle and you give her chocolate the first day of her period every month, she might get suspicious.
  
• If you know her cycle and one day she's just really emotional when it ISN'T her period, remember that she can get cramps all month and be sure to ALWAYS be there for her.
  
• Girls are extremely sensitive. When it comes to their periods, it's 10 times worse. Be careful and treat her good.

Warnings

• Stupidity can destroy a relationship.
  
• Even though she may be mean to you, DO NOT tolerate her physically abusing you.
  
• Maybe a slap is tolerable but unprovoked violence during that time of the month is abuse.
  
• Not all women have PMS symptoms. Don't try to blame your relationship issues on your girlfriend's period. This is just immature. If she really suffers from PMS, that's just a few days out of a whole month/year. Dig deeper to find the real core of your problems.
  
• Probably the worst mistake you could make is assuming that she's PMSing when she really isn't, because it shows that you don't respect her and you think she's irrational.
  
• If she IS going through PMS, NEVER EVER mention to her that her current anemic state is due to PMS. Especially if she is having an argument/fight with you.
  
• Do not share the fact that she is on her period with anyone. This is very private information and whoever you share it with may talk to your girlfriend about it. This will make her very uncomfortable and she may not feel like she can confide in you.

Lesson 1: Sanitary Pad and Menstrual

Yesterday i needed to buy the usual items for that week of the month. Zwan pun ikut sekali la. Usually his sisters would just buy one type of sanitary pad. Then i guess he was like shocked, that i bought 3 different types of it just for my own use.

At home, he asked me.

"Baby, y byk sgt ni? (Pointing to each one of the pads) Ni utk apa? Ni plak utk
apa? Ni lg utk apa?"

Eh, byk soal juak anak tok. Hahah... So here goes, lesson of Sanitary Pads.

Here, i have 3 different types of pads that i must have.

1. Light flow
   Brand in use: Kotex Pantiliners with Green Tea Extract
   
   
   When to use: Before and after the menstrual.
   Reason: Just to be prepare before the heavy flow starts, and after for the final drip.

2. During the day
   
   
   Brand in use: Stayfree Slim Wing
   When to use: During the day, needs to be change after 4-5 hours of usage or when full.
   Reason: So that ur pants wouldn't seem so like ur wearing a diaper la! Hahah! Easy to monitor cause you're awake. Takkan bocor punya.

3. For sleeping at night
   
   
   Brand in use: Stayfree Overnight Wing Extra Long
   When to use: Nama lg overnight kan? Use when going to bed. Or long distance of driving.
   Reason: Extra protection with no leakeage at all. Can last up to 10 hours and still feel secure. :)

Meeting the family

Friday 7th Nov 2008,
afternoon
Off from work, had lunch at home in Ampang. Packing2, getting ready to leave home. On our way to home in Muar. Chey, home in Muar. hahah! ;)

late afternoon
Reaches Muar, after 2-3 hours of driving with speed of 70-80 km/h in range. ;) tho, we didnt balik rumah terus. i was freakingly nervous to meet his parent at the moment. so we cruise around Muar, went to see my baby's favourite spots.

1. There's the tempat monyet. Sgt sgt sgt byk monyet!!! also ada babi hutans! (notice the 's') its like a zoo but monkeys, wild boar and humans gets along. haha..
2. Next stop, there's the Tanjung. Ouh ya, fyi... Most places in Muar, kinda reminds me a whole lot of Miri. Even Miri also have Tanjong what. Tanjong lobang. The scenery, kinda more or less.
3. Then we passed by this place, they called Marina. The difference with it and Miri is that, they have a big durian statue, Miri has this BIG sea horse. Hihih.. ;)

early evening
Cruising around the City, finally reaches the right-turn junction then a left turn after a bump to his home. Woa...... CUAK ni!!! (but in an excited cuak kinda of feeling) I can't really explains it all in detail how it goes, cause it all passed by so fast. The sister, the mum... more sisters then the grandma. At that very moment, all i think was just one,

"gosh, plez dont hate me. i love ur son so much and i'll try my best to take
care of him as how u do".

Then as the moment passed by, the kekok+ness become less and lesser. that's a good thing la in a way. What i did was like, being myself but the good me, not the gila2 me come out. Haha!

towards the night
We went out for more cruising around the city, and sight seeing. That was after we find a place for me to pee, hahah! I think i was that nervous, dunno how many times la i pee in a day that day! After that, continue cruising around. I love to raun2 in a car, or even just have a short walk in the park, by the sea side, anything that includes just moving in slow pace. ;) kinda like, at the moment, is the only way u wud feel the time passes by slowly. Not too fast, just nice.

Saturday 8th Nov 2008,
morning
The smell of his mum making breakfast and the racquet their all making downstairs woke us up. Before me n zwan actually get up from bed, we both lepak2 upstairs, tgk2 albums. ;) Then after went downstairs to have our breakfast. His mum made Lontong for breakfast. Serious, first time la makan lontong!!! Come to think of it, most of the dishes his mum cooked, semua the dish ive never seen before what more taste. First2, tahan lidah la. I knew it was coming anyway, ive prepare my stomach for it. Hahah! Then again, most of the food his mum cooked, boley makan la. Like, up to my taste. :D So far...

still morning towards noon
His mum gave us a list of things to buy for her to cook for lunch. Fyi, ni tak mandi lg ni. Hahah! So we go la groceries shopping. Stop at this one store, ada la semua benda. Then udang plak xda... Habis semua kedai we both stop by cari udang. Sampai zwan ckp, if xda udang gak.. beli udang hidup la. I'm like... "You're kidding kan baby?" Hahaa! Of course he was.

noon towards afternoon
It was, sambal goreng on the menu. his mum,

"Ni la recipe diturun dr nenek zwan, and if nak dgn zwan ni, kene la blaja how
nak masak masakan ni"

Pergh... now thats the moment im like, alamak, i have to learn this. hahah! The dish looks kinda, eh, if its wasnt for my baby zwan, mmg i tak sentuh ni. But then looks may be deceiving. Rupa maybe like .... but the taste, sedap la! hahahah! :D Then after that, baru la mandi...

After mandi pun, ada lg his mum masak! Late lunch i guess. Serious, a non-stop buffet! Asyik kene padat with food je. Kalah at my own house, and b4 i dah fikir my mum cukup padat zwan with mcm2 foods. Ada lg that could top my mum out. Huhuh!

afternoon towards evening
Jalan2 tgk burung with his sister, Ce-line. A good thing la that his sister wanna bond in with us, also Ce-line la that im most afraid to. Cause i kinda see me in her. If she is a lot like me, habis la i. Y? Cause im not that err, ngam2 with my sister in law. Then turns out, Ce-line seems to be ok. Fuh, now i know how Salina feels around us. As in me and wawan. No more giving her hard times la. Sorry sis. ;)

Funny thing with Ce-line was the moment where she dah boley kelentong kan i. Woa... i pun, aduh2... hahahah!!! That's sweet of her, and good news for me. Means she can accepts me la kan? hehe.. Happy nya! His other two sisters, Zwani and Onya also seems to be cool with me. We can talk, a few chit chat. :)

eh, what happened at this moment. tak ingat la plak. I think we all lepak2 together i guess. Can't seem to remember exactly the details. mostly, lepak2 la... sharing stories. :) till we're all tired and went for bed.

Sunday 9th Nov 2008,
morning
Again, we're both woke up by the sound of his mum making breakfast downstairs. After breakfast, x mandi lg... We all pegi Pasar Tani nearby, we all as in me, zwan, his mum and ce-line. Huhuhu.... best part, a lot of bonding moment here. Beli mcm2 la... Petai (my mum minta kirim) Btw, masa beli petai tu i took a picture then the penjual petai happy sgt sgt. Hehehe... The penjual next to him said,

"Org jual bunga pun x diambik gambar".

hehehe... funny la... I took pictures cause, i've never seen org jual petai like that many!


After that, his mum asked me...

"nak tgk burung tak?" im like, "eh burung? if we have time, boley
je." Then his mum like, "we have nothing but time."

hehehe....


Seriously, best moment ever!

Reached home, we all helped out making lunch. My kind of food on the menu, steamed fish and ikan asam pedas. Serious pedas la! But sedap!! hehehe...

Then all packed up, getting ready to leave out to KL plak. Woa.. like why i suddenly rasa berat hati to leave. Its like im already attached to them. Waa..... This conversation pops out,

his mum: adek, ada apa2 lupa x?
me: tak kot, if ada pun... nanti boley dtg lg kan?
his mum: a`a. :) she smiled

Waa... best nya!! Another green light. In the previous post, zwan got his green light from my family. And now, i got my green light from his. =) Bahagia nya!!!!

Off to KL, we passed by Melaka. Where i tgk this really big beca!!! it's like, 3 times bigger than the normal one. Notice the small human on it in the pic. Masuk Negeri Sembilan... Into Selangor and there it is, the sign board, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Finally, home in Ampang.

The perfect lover huh? A male la for sure. I don't actually believe in a perfect lover to exist. But i do have my standards in finding that someone who i want to spend the rest of my life with. All i need is just this 5 criterias, the last 3 is just minor.

1. Tiang agama mmg mesti kukuh la. Yg tak smayg tu, mmg i tak consider terus la. (dah la i ni tak betul sgt, who's gonna guide me?)

3. Loves to eat, has a big stomach to fill all the food in (but still maintain hott figure)

Weekends Unplanned

Hey you couples out there... Bored with KL? Out of ideas on what to do on a weekend? Try out what we did last weekend.

KL-UTP-IPOH-LUMUT-UTP-IPOH-CAMERON
HIGHLAND-KL

1. Friday afternoon: Drive to UTP, Perak. Makan maggi goreng telur mata Ameeth! Yum yum! Then we had a drive crusing around UTP.
2. Friday night: Went to Ipoh, Perak just to go out on a date. Double date to be exact. :)
3. Spent a night at Lumut just to look at the harbour. Though x nampak apa2 pun..
4. Saturday morning: Brunch in Hollywood, Canning with a couple of members.
5. Saturday afternoon: Lepak2 at Cameran Highlands on our way back through Simpang Pulai. exit at Tapah. Did the must buy food when ur at cameron. (strawberry, asparagus, pearl corn, bla bla bla..)
6. Saturday night - Sunday afternoon: We had out longest sleep ever! Penat kot... ;)
7. Sunday evening: Dinner at San Francisco SteakHouse celebrating my little brother's birthday, Happy Birthday Wawan!! One hell of an expensive dinner. The foods wasnt that great either. Read more in HateAboutThat. :P After, we had a quick shopping.
8. Sunday night: Crusing around on the MRR2 from Ampang to UIAM, Gombak. U-Turn, back Home.

Nah... Its not that expensive. Plus the fuel prices has just been reduced more kan? Makin byk la raun2 me n zwan. hehehe.. ;)
